SLP Daybook isn't in the App Store. You add it straight from this page instead, on whatever you work on — an iPad, a phone, or a laptop. It takes about ten seconds, and afterwards it sits on your home screen or dock with its own icon and opens full screen, with no address bar, exactly like any other app.
iPad
- 1Open slpdaybook.com in Safari.
- 2Tap the Share button. The square with an arrow pointing up, at the top right of the screen.
- 3Tap Add to Home Screen in the list.
- 4Tap Add, top right.
Has to be Safari, other browsers on iPad can't add to the home screen.
iPhone
- 1Open slpdaybook.com in Safari.
- 2Tap the Share button. The square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
- 3Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 4Tap Add, top right.
Same as the iPad, except the Share button lives at the bottom instead of the top.
Android
- 1Open slpdaybook.com in Chrome.
- 2Tap the three dots, top right.
- 3Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen.
Chrome usually offers this on its own after a visit or two.
Computer
- 1Open slpdaybook.com.
- 2Click the small install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar.
- 3Click Install.
Works in Chrome and Edge. Safari on a Mac uses File → Add to Dock.
On an iPad it can live in the Dock alongside everything else, and open beside another app in Split View. So you can keep a student's goals open next to whatever you're running the session from.
Nothing downloads and nothing is stored on the phone. It's the same app you're using now, just with its own icon instead of a bookmark. So you stay signed in, and every update reaches you the moment it ships, with nothing to install again.
